Remembering Rich Peabody

With sorrow, we inform you about a loss to our Loveland City School District community. On September 27, 2021, Rich Peabody, the lead custodian at Loveland High School died after being hospitalized with COVID-19.

Our district has resources available to help students, families, and staff during times like these. Tiger families, please reach out to one of our school counselors through our website if you are in need of support.

Rich has been a part of our district for 26 years. His wife, Ora Sue retired as the LMS secretary and continues to work here as a substitute cafeteria worker and monitor. Their son Daniel is the lead custodian at LES and their son David is a Loveland grad and community resident too.

Please keep the Peabody family in your thoughts and prayers.
