3 Loveland Seniors Named National Merit Semifinalists
Three Loveland High School Seniors have been named Semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program. Jeremy Case, Alexander Harlow, and Nicole Pedicini will have an opportunity to continue in the National Merit Competition.
“We are so proud to learn Jeremy, Alexander, and Nicole are National Merit Semifinalists. It’s a fantastic accomplishment, and we’re thankful to have them representing Loveland,” LHS Principal Adam Reed said.
The National Merit Scholarship Program honors the nation’s scholastic champions and encourages the pursuit of academic excellence. The semifinalists represent less than 1% of high school seniors and are the highest-scoring in each state on the 2020 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Students from across the country who are recognized today will now compete for about 7,500 scholarships worth nearly $30 million.
“One of the district’s commitments to our community is to provide our students with an opportunity for academic excellence. It’s awesome to see Jeremy, Alexander, and Nicole recognized on a national level for their talent and hard work,” Superintendent Mike Broadwater said.
Congratulations to Jeremy Case, Alexander Harlow, and Nicole Pedicini, Loveland High School Class of 2022 on being named National Merit Semifinalists.
