The Best Part of LPS students
Loveland Primary School (LPS) second-grade students in Jennifer Hilton’s class know they are unique and special; Friday, April 11, they shared all the reasons why.
“This project was based on the book The Best Part of Me by Wendy Ewald,” explained Hilton. “This is an amazing book that reminds our students that we are all unique and special.”
Mrs. Hilton organized the in-class writing workshop project: Create a narrative based on your best part. Students shared the stories at an open-mic event with a full house of parents enjoying the coffeehouse-style environment the students created.
“It was really a great time,” said Hilton. “Our students are unique and special, and this was a way to incorporate that message into a learning project and share with our larger Tiger Family.”
