Pass it On!
Goals are nice to set… but even better when surpassed! For the 15th Annual Pass it On Food Drive for Loveland’s LIFE Food Pantry, Loveland Intermediate School (LIS) and Loveland Middle School (LMS) students didn’t just exceed their original goal of collecting 2,300 food items – they doubled it!
“LIS & LMS overwhelmingly exceeded their goal!” said Karen Burke, LIFE Food Pantry Pass it On co-chair. “Our original goal was to provide 230 local families a wonderful holiday meal; the extra donations provided for additional families on a waiting list. Thank you to our students and families for helping our community!”
LIS and LMS students poured out of their campus buildings before 8 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, with the donated items in tow, walking the collected food items from school to the LIFE Food Pantry at the nearby Prince of Peace Church. Prior to the donations made this year, Loveland students have donated more than 28,000 food items to this cause.
