The Loveland City Schools Board of Education has announced the hiring of Mike Broadwater as Superintendent of Loveland City Schools.
“With his experience as a district administrator and a teacher, Mr. Broadwater is the perfect fit to lead our district and engage with our community as we move Loveland City Schools forward,” Board President Dr. Kathryn Lorenz said.
Mr. Broadwater is currently working in the Forest Hills School District, where he is the Assistant Superintendent of Business Operations and Human Resources. He has previously served as the Principal of Anderson High School, as Assistant Principal of Lakota East High School, and as a mathematics and computer science teacher in North Royalton City Schools. His resume highlights his extensive experience in district operations, with a deep commitment to community engagement on issues of fiscal stewardship, and strategic direction.
“With the help of CF Educational Solutions, we have engaged the community in a thorough and thoughtful process to find a great leader for Loveland City Schools,” Board Vice President Kevin Dougherty said.
“I am honored to be selected as the superintendent of such a high-performing school district as Loveland City Schools,” Mr. Broadwater said. “I am excited to get to know our students, staff, and community and build the strong relationships required to continue to move our district in a positive direction for our kids. Mr. Broadwater will begin his tenure as Loveland Superintendent on August 1, 2021.
