Message from the Board of Education
Posted Friday, March 20, 2020
The Loveland School Board of Education is currently focused on being available to conduct such business as may be necessary for the safe, continued operation of the district, to continue cooperation of the district with local, state, and federal authorities, and to assure the current and future welfare and success of our students and staff.
Work is being done to determine legality and logistics of virtual meetings and how such meetings could be public.
With the cancellation of the March 19, 2020 meeting, the next announced meeting of the Board is scheduled for April 7, 2020.
Currently, there is still no clarity concerning the final date for voting in the Ohio primary election and uncertainty as to the date when public school sessions will resume. It is therefore difficult to ascertain, at this time, any board action that may be necessary.
The Board continues to be cognizant of its duties to assure sufficient funding for district operations, to plan for the educational opportunities for our students and to consider the voice of every voting citizen of our district. We also wish to extend our sincere sentiments for the health and safety of our students, staff, and all residents of the Loveland School District.
