Tigerparent.me offers streamlined experience for families
We want to thank all of our parents who have signed up for a TigerParent.me account. With 4,500 parent portal accounts established, the vast majority of district parents are now using this “one-stop-shop” for access to their student’s grades, fees, bus routes, classroom, building and district announcements, etc.
We are invested in a streamlined user experience for our students and families when it comes to accessing information, including course grades. Moving forward, we will disable parent and student access to GradeBook (ie, ProgressBook) as of Friday, October 25. GradeBook has traditionally served as the location for 5th-8th grade students and parents to access information on class grades, assignment marks, homework, etc. That information is now available in TigerParent.me for parents and Blackboard for students to align the process across all grades 5-12. (A reminder: TigerParent.me is the parent version of Blackboard.) You can learn more about what these views look like for parents by referencing our TigerParent.me infographic in the TigerParent.me User Guide
