The Building Tiger Nation Finance Committee met for the third time on December 20, 2018, to engage participants in a discussion about how a school district’s operation levy cycles typically works, and how it ties into the life cycle of the district’s general fund balance. The vast majority of the meeting was dedicated to the five-year financial forecast, which is required by the State of Ohio twice a year for all public school districts in the state.
The next Building Tiger Nation Finance Committee meeting will be held on January 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the LMS/LIS Media Center. The meeting is open to the public and will be discussing financing options for funding a facilities master plan. Notes and presentation materials from the meetings are available on www.buildingtigernation.org
