On Saturday, May 4, the second Stuff-a-Bus district-wide food drive by the Loveland Schools transportation department culminated with the delivery to the L.I.F.E. Food Pantry. More than 700 food items were donated by Loveland businesses, district families, and staff, and will provide a much-needed supply for the summer when many students no longer access food service programs through school.
Thank you to everyone who donated items and also to those who helped unpack and sort the food, including students from the Loveland High School Honor Society. Businesses in the community, such as LCNB and Loveland Kroger, also helped make the drive a huge success. A very special thank you goes to Lisa Moorhead, Loveland Schools bus driver, for having organized the food drive, as well as to Girls Scout Troop 42881 for making Stuff-a-Bus its spring community service project. The Girl Scouts worked for weeks to promote and facilitate the project, and made a significant contribution during and after the delivery on Saturday. Attached is a thank you letter from the L.I.F.E. Food Pantry!
