Tigers Give Back Dancin' on the Turf
Given our students' desire to hold a dance under the stars on the Tiger Turf, Loveland High School (LHS) is pleased to announce the Tigers Give Back Dancin' on the Turf event. In conjunction with the Thursday, Sept. 24 televised football game versus the Kings' Knights, the LHS Student Council will sponsor the local charity Pink Ribbon Girls, a Cincinnati-based breast cancer support group. Additionally, the students have expressed interest in stocking the shelves of LIFE, Loveland's local food pantry, early this fall.
LHS has combined the two events to form the Tigers Give Back Dancin' on the Turf event. The dance will be held 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25. In the event of inclement weather, the cafeteria will be pre-set and the dance will take place as planned. Admission to the dance will be either $5 for Pink Ribbon Girls or five canned food items for LIFE Food Pantry as chosen by the student when they sign up for the dance. Sign-ups will be held the week of September 21 at lunch. Guest forms will be required at that time. Students will be checked into the dance per normal procedure.
