An adventure in energy efficiency

Loveland Primary School (LPS) students had quite the adventure Friday, Sept. 26, as The National Theater for Children performed "The Treasure Trove of Conservation Cove, A Pirate's Tale." Duke Energy sponsors the performance which is used to teach students how to conserve energy and resources.
“We welcome the opportunity to partner with Duke Energy to present such an important lesson – especially in such a creative environment,” said Kevin Fancher, LPS principal. “The performers with The National Theater for Children are top notch; it was a very successful event.”
All Tiger families are encouraged to sign up for a free energy efficiency kit. The kits contain several tools to help you save resources at your home, and participating schools are eligible to win prizes – including money – for their school. Kits can be found at xmarksthekit.org or by calling 1-855-386-9548.
