It was big, red and parked right in front of Loveland Primary School (LPS).
Thursday, Oct. 2, the Loveland-Symmes Fire Department truck was a vehicle for instruction for LPS first and second grade students. The lesson was fire safety.
“Who doesn’t want to see the inside of a fire truck? Our students thought it was incredibly cool, and couldn’t wait to take a tour!” said LPS Principal Kevin Fancher. “This was a wonderful opportunity to bring in subject experts to really teach our students an important lesson; we really appreciate the professionals with the Loveland-Symmes Fire Department spending time with our classes. It truly brought book lessons to life.”
The fire safety presentation is an annual event at LPS.
