Health curriculum update
Posted Thursday, November 13, 2014
We want you to be aware of a parent survey the district plans to distribute via email on Monday, Nov. 17. We would appreciate your participation in this three-question survey that has been designed to capture your priorities on the health education of your student as we partner with PAWS (Promoting an Attitude of Wellness in Schools) to review our current health education practices in kindergarten through seventh grade, and evolve our curriculum.
The Loveland City School District values healthy living, and is committed to providing students a solid foundation of health education. We will use the information collected to review, update, and organize the health education of our students. We plan to present an updated curriculum to the Board of Education in March 2015.
Again, you will receive this district survey via email from your building Monday, Nov. 17. We appreciate your time, and thank you for your assistance as we continue to help prepare our students for tomorrow, today. Please don’t hesitate to contact me at email@example.com if you have any questions.
