The Loveland City School District is pleased to announce a partnership between Loveland High School (LHS) and Loveland Middle School (LMS) to host a debut college and career evening 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at the LHS Auditorium featuring keynote speaker Anthony Muñoz.
“We are thrilled to provide both our middle school and high school students the unique opportunity to hear directly from such an esteemed member of our community,” said Chris Kloesz, LHS principal.
Anthony Muñoz is one of Cincinnati’s true sports icons. Considered by many as the greatest offensive lineman in NFL history, Muñoz has a record of excellence that is unrivaled in professional football. An 11-time NFL Pro Bowl selection, Muñoz is the only Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee in Cincinnati Bengals history. Since retiring, he and his family have remained in Cincinnati, where Muñoz has served as one of the community’s most accessible and involved advocates.
In addition, attendees will learn about career education opportunities available to students at LHS and LMS, along with engaging in a personality assessment activity conducted by Tyler Bradshaw from Miami University.
“This event is about discovering what you are passionate about, and then learning the paths to transform that passion into life success,” said Chris Burke, LMS principal. “That is a valuable lesson for all of us – no matter how young, or how old.”
