First-grade students at Loveland Early Childhood Center (LECC) enjoyed some special visitors Wednesday, May 1. Mr. Molecule presented a creative lesson on science to celebrate a unique science day event. Parent volunteers were also on hand to guide the young scientists though different experiments at the PTA-sponsored event. Activities this year included magnets, surface tension, bubbles, oil spills and student made ooblek.
“This event provides an opportunity for our parents to become a real part of the instruction,” said Kyle Bush, LECC principal. “We all enjoyed the presentation by Mr. Molecule! It was a successful event, and we thank the PTA for sponsoring such a unique learning experience.”
