Celebration of Tiger Excellence
Posted Wednesday, May 29, 2013
Loveland High School (LHS) students gathered Tuesday, May 28, for the first ever Celebration of Tiger Excellence ceremony in the LHS Gym. School administrators recognized students in grades 9-11 for academic achievement and in grades 9-12 for involvement in clubs and activities. This was also the debut of the Tiger Integrity Award. The award was designed to honor two graduating seniors (one male and one female), and this year’s recipients were Sarah LaCombe and Matt Becker.
“The purpose of the Tiger Integrity Award is to recognize two outstanding, well-rounded seniors who are actively and magnanimously involved in daily life at Loveland High School,” said Chris Kloesz, LHS principal. “The recipients of this award are graduating seniors who have consistently represented Loveland High School and The Tiger Way through demonstrative means in the areas of scholastic pursuits, positive leadership, service to others, and respect for school, community, and education. Sarah LaCombe and Matt Becker are ideal selections for the first annual Tiger Integrity Award – and they are perfectly representative of the outstanding and accomplished Class of 2013 at Loveland High School.”

In addition to the Tiger Integrity Award, the PTO Educator of the Year Award was presented to Kristin Scherman, a science teacher at LHS.
