The Loveland City School District congratulates Loveland Elementary School (LES) Gifted Specialist Heidi Weber who was recently published for her work in teacher-created online content in the new book Online Teaching in K-12.
“Being asked to write for the book was an honor and privilege,” said Weber. “It opened the opportunity for reflection of best practices and our successes and failures as we (students and I) worked together.”
“As a parent and colleague of Mrs. Weber, I am so amazed at her talent and passion for teaching students using technology,” said Loveland Innovative Instructional Coach Susan Craig. “Watching her work, you see the dedication she has to using best practices and moving at a pace for all students.”
Weber partnered with a secondary teacher from Canada to produce a chapter focused on online teaching. To view the complete book, click here: http://books.infotoday.com/books/Online-Teaching-in-K-12.shtml.
