Loveland Schools Foundation Distinguished Alumni Awards

Please see the following message from Loveland Schools Foundation Executive Director Linda Slusher:
Loveland Schools Foundation is accepting nominations for its Distinguished Alumni Awards Presentation this fall. Any Loveland High School graduate who has excelled in his/her personal or professional life is eligible.
A one-page nominating form must be submitted along with the candidate’s resume and two letters of endorsement stating specific characteristics and reasons for the nomination.
A maximum of five recipients will be chosen during the selection period. Nominations may be made by a family member, a business associate or a community member who is well acquainted with the nominee as well as Foundation Members, Corporate Foundation Sponsors, Faculty, Administrators and Board of Education Members of the Loveland City School District.
Nominations are accepted for graduates who have chosen various types of career pursuits: the military, the entertainment field, writing, business, medicine, teaching, industry and any other profession in which he/she had “made a difference”.
For many years, Loveland Schools have produced outstanding graduates who have excelled in their professional and personal lives and have had an impact on their communities, society, and the lives of others on a local, national and global level. It is the purpose of the Loveland Schools Foundation to identify these individuals, recognize them and to make current Loveland students, employees of the school district and the Loveland community as a whole aware of their leadership qualities and their accomplishments.

Click here to download “Distinguished Alumni Awards Nomination Form” application. Nominating forms must be received by the Loveland Schools Foundation no later than Friday, June 9, 2017. A panel of judges consisting of one member of the Loveland Schools Foundation Board, one member of the Loveland Schools Foundation at large, a Loveland Schools Foundation Life Member, a faculty member or administrator of Loveland Schools, and one member of the Loveland business community will select the recipients which will be announced in late June or early July and awards will be presented at a banquet in the fall of 2017.
