LPS and LES student art on display for first-ever community show!
Posted Tuesday, December 6, 2016
We know how talented our young Tigers are, and now the community will get a chance to celebrate their artistic achievement! Loveland Primary School (LPS) and Loveland Elementary School (LES) student-artists will be featured from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, December 10, at the Loveland Art Studios on Main Children’s Art Show (Loveland Artist Studios on Main 529 Main Ave). The work of students in grades one through four will be on display during the free event that also includes live music, refreshments and a photo booth.
“This is the first year for this show, and the contact was made because LPS Art Teacher Kayla McClary and I wanted to display student art in the community and the studio owner wanted to get student art displayed in their studio,” said LES Art Teacher Jeff Flaig. “So it's a win-win. The students will get to see actual artists working in their studios, and get to see their art displayed in a professional setting!”
“This is an exceptional opportunity for the entire Tiger Family to celebrate our outstanding student artists, see beautiful art, meet Loveland Artists in Residence, and join the community focus for arts appreciation,” said McClary.
We hope to see you there!
