LHS students recognized by National Technical Honor Society

The Loveland City School District congratulates two Loveland High School (LHS) students for participation in the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS). Senior Emily Tracy is in the Dental Assistant Program, and in the Scarlet Oaks chapter of NTHS; she received her Honor Cord this year. Junior Jade Morris is in the Early Childhood Education Program, and in the Live Oaks chapter of NTHS; she was inducted into the organization this year.
Candidates for the National Technical Honor Society should be students who have good character, creditable achievement, exhibit leadership, and who plan to pursue a career in their field of vocational technical study. In addition, students must maintain a 3.5 grade point average with 95 percent attendance.
Scarlet Oaks and Live Oaks are two of four campuses affiliated with Great Oaks, one of the largest career and technical education districts in the United States. Great Oaks has been providing career development, workforce development and economic development services to individuals, business, industry, labor, communities and other organizations in southwest Ohio since 1970.
