The orange aprons were tied snuggly and the hammers were out, as Loveland Middle School (LMS) and Loveland Intermediate School (LIS) students got a lesson in construction courtesy the Home Depot Thursday, Jan. 14. Teachers Candi Michaelis and Rachael Angel who typically instruct the nearly 20 students joined School Resource Officer Fred Barnes and Superintendent Chad Hilliker among other volunteers in assisting with the lesson.
“This is such a wonderful, interactive project for our students,” said Angel. “We have done this activity before, and we really appreciate the employees at the Home Depot taking the time to come back out. We always look forward to it.”
