Loveland High School (LHS) and Loveland Middle School (LMS) student-athletes were front and center at the Symmes Township Board of Trustees Meeting Tuesday, Jan. 5, as city leaders recognized the LHS Lady Tiger Soccer Team and the LMS Boys and Girls Cross Country teams for excellent seasons. The LHS Lady Tiger were State Finalists and both LMS Cross Country teams won the Eastern Cincinnati Conference (ECC) and placed second in city with the girls team earning fourth place at state, and the boys earning fifth place.
"Coach Carol Adams and I were extremely honored that the Symmes Township Board of Trustees took the time to honor the team,” said Loveland Intermediate School Teacher and Cross Country Coach Steve Federman. “They worked very hard this season and it's always nice when somebody recognizes your accomplishments. It was also nice that the students got to see firsthand the local government and be a part of it."
