Math was a family affair for students in first through fourth grades Wednesday, Oct. 21, as Tigers young and old filled elementary schools in celebration of the annual Family Math Night. This year teachers incorporated math games for each grade from Investigations in the Loveland Elementary School (LES) Cafeteria, while math technology games were set up in the gym.
“The way we learn is evolving, and we wanted an opportunity to allow our parents and guardians to come in and get some hands-on experience with the tools we are using to teach,” said LES Principal Jennifer Forren. “This was an exciting experience for our students, our families and our teachers, and we are very pleased with the event.”
