MAP informational meeting May 2
Posted Tuesday, April 23, 2013
After extensive research, the Loveland City School District is implementing Measures of Academic Progress or MAP; MAP is a web-based assessment which students will take three times per year in reading and math. The district conducted a pilot of MAP this past March with students in grades 4 and 8. In the fall of 2013, the district will implement MAP in grades K-9.
Parents are invited to attend an informational meeting on the new assessment tool 6 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at the LIS/LMS Media Center. This meeting is to replace a meeting that was originally to take place Thursday, April 18. This district apologizes to any parents who came out to the original April 18 meeting for the miscommunication of time.
Any parent who would like to learn more about MAP, but cannot attend the May 2 meeting is encouraged to contact Kimberly Miller, assistant superintendent, teaching and learning to schedule an individual session. You can contact Mrs. Miller at email@example.com.
