Loveland Intermediate School (LIS) welcomes newly named Assistant Principal Gretchen Watts to the administrative team. Watts is an 11-year veteran of education, spending eight of those years in the Loveland City School District working the first five years as an intervention specialist with students who have multiple disabilities and the past three year as the LIS building coordinator.
“Gretchen has made Loveland Intermediate School a better place in each of her 8 years here, and I cannot think of a better person to work alongside,” said Garth Carlier, LIS principal. “Gretchen’s focus is the same as our mission – to continue to make LIS a great place for students to learn and grow.”
“I have always felt very honored and proud to be a part of the Loveland community and the Loveland City School District,” said Watts. “I am very excited to have this opportunity to partner with our staff, students, parents and community in the education of our greatest asset, our students and children. I am honored to be a part of this legacy and am thrilled that I am able to continue working with the wonderful staff and students at Loveland Intermediate School.”
