LMS Lady Tigers show team spirit off the court

The Loveland Middle School (LMS) seventh grade Lady Tigers basketball team showed their Tiger pride by helping a family in need this holiday season. Coach Nick Hartings has made this a tradition with his team, and this year was no different. The Lady Tigers worked with Connie Smith, Loveland Primary School (LPS) health aide to locate a Loveland family that was in need this holiday season. The players and their families overwhelmingly responded by providing toys, books, and video games as well as clothes, gym shoes and new winter coats. Coach Hartings delivered the items to LPS on behalf of the team and afterwards sent an e-mail to his team that truly summed it up, “I know your kindness will bring smiles to the faces of a very grateful family this holiday season. A simple gesture on your part means the world to a family in need.” Way to go Lady Tigers.
