Standing room only!

It was standing room only for all three Loveland Primary School (LPS) performances during the fine arts events Monday, Jan. 14 and Tuesday, Jan. 15, in the LPS gym. More than 1500 guests total were in attendance to view student-produced art along with a special art display created by Rinda Shutts, and listen to musical selections directed by Kristen Planeaux. Mallet Madness (student mallet players in grades 3 and 4) conducted guest performances during each of the three shows while LPS second graders transitioned between musical selections.
“This was simply outstanding,” said Kevin Fancher, LPS principal. “It was an excellent showcase of the ability of our students, and it was an illustration of the parent and community support our school enjoys.”
Following each performance, LPS hosted an open house event to give students an opportunity to show off the work they do on a daily basis.
“You could see the pride the students felt while presenting their work, and you could see the pride their families felt about what they accomplished,” said Fancher. “I appreciate all of the work our teachers put into these events; it was well worth the effort.”
