The Loveland City School District earned several awards at the Ohio School Public Relations Association (OHSPRA) spring conference. The district’s Quality Profile and its work lobbying state lawmakers received honors.
“Community engagement is one of the goals of our #beLOVEland Strategic Vision, and we have worked very hard during the last few years to communicate clearly and consistently with our community. Thank you to OHSPRA for once again recognizing our efforts as among the best in the state of Ohio,” Superintendent Mike Broadwater said.
Each year, OHSPRA honors school districts for outstanding contributions to school communications. Loveland City School District was awarded the 2026 “Mark of Distinction” for the Quality Profile mailing the district sent to every homeowner last fall. You can view the Quality Profile at this link on our website. The district also earned “Marks of Excellence” in the writing and special purpose publication categories for lobbying messages created during last year’s biennium budget cycle, alerting the community and local lawmakers to potential cuts to Loveland’s funding.
“I’m proud to be part of a school district that places such a high value on communication, and thankful to the Ohio School Public Relations Association for this confirmation that we are doing great work,” Director of Communication and Community Engagement Andrew Setters said.
The Loveland City School District has been recognized by OHSPRA previously with the “Mark of Distinction” in 2025 in the e-newsletter category, and 2024 “Marks of Distinction” in the writing, e-newsletter, and Quality Profile categories, and numerous "Mark of Excellence" awards.
