Loveland City School District is taking an important step to enhance student and staff safety with the addition of another school resource officer from the City of Loveland Police Department. Jesse Moore will serve as a School Resource Officer and Community Resource Officer beginning in the 2025-26 school year.
“The safety of our students and staff is the greatest responsibility that we have as a public school district. I am thankful for the great relationship that we have with the City of Loveland, which allows us to expand the number of School Resource Officers,” Superintendent Mike Broadwater said.
The Loveland City School District serves over 4,000 students across six buildings located on four separate campuses. The district now has four School Resource Officers available to cover those campuses. The cost of the SRO positions is shared by the City of Loveland and the Loveland City School District.
“Jesse Moore is an experienced School Resource Officer, who is student-centered and a great part of our community. I’m grateful he has agreed to fill this important role and return to our campuses to support our students and staff,” Superintendent Mike Broadwater said.
In addition to serving as SRO, Jesse Moore will also serve as a Community Resource Officer, providing more outreach to the Loveland community.
