Loveland City School District has again been honored with the “Best Communities for Music Education” designation from the NAMM Foundation. Districts earn this recognition for outstanding achievement in providing music access and education to all students.
“This honor is a recognition that our district is helping students of all ages follow their passions in the performing arts. We already know that Loveland is one of the best communities to live, work, play, and raise a family - now we can add music education to the list,” Superintendent Mike Broadwater said.
Loveland first earned the “Best Communities for Music Education” honor in 2025, and is now in year two of recognition. To qualify, districts complete detailed questionnaires about their music programs, including instruction time, participation, and community support. The NAMM Foundation has recognized communities for their outstanding music education programs for 26 years.
“We have outstanding music programs in our district - from award-winning marching band, orchestra, and show choir programs, to opportunities for our youngest students to begin exploring their interests. Thank you to the amazing music teachers we have across Loveland City Schools for helping the district earn this national recognition,” Superintendent Mike Broadwater said.
