At Loveland City School District, we are proud to join public school districts across Southwest Ohio in celebrating Public Schools Week, February 23-27, 2026. This week is an opportunity to recognize the incredible impact that public schools have on students, families, and communities across Ohio and the country.
Strong public schools and strong communities go hand in hand. In Ohio, more than 1.6 million children attend public schools across 611 traditional school districts. Public schools serve every student who walks through our doors, regardless of background, ability, or circumstance. Public schools are accountable to the communities they serve, governed by a Board of Education elected from the community, and designed to provide opportunity for all.
Here in Loveland, we have worked with our community on our #beLOVEland Strategic Vision, which guides our focus in four key areas: Student Success, Collaborative Culture, Community Engagement, and Fiscal Responsibility. We provide opportunities for students to explore their career interests with our Loveland Tiger Pathways program, and partner with families to support student wellness, mental health, and safety. We stay connected to our community through communication and relationship-building, and strive to provide above-average results at below-average costs.
Public Schools Week is a celebration of the partnership between strong public school districts and strong communities. Our district would not be successful without families who support learning at home, community organizations that invest in our schools, local businesses that provide opportunities for students, and our alumni who are great ambassadors for what it means to #beLOVEland.
You can join with Loveland City Schools and districts across southwest Ohio in celebrating Public Schools Week by sharing your story and demonstrating your public school pride. Look for social media content this week tagged with #PSW26 and #iheartpublicschools
