2026 Summer Meals Information

If the children in your household are currently receiving free or reduced meals at Loveland Schools, they will automatically be eligible for a program called Summer EBT (Sun Bucks) through the State. This summer program will help families buy food during the summer when school is out. Your children will automatically be enrolled in the program, so you do not need to complete an application.   If your children are not currently receiving free or reduced meals, a new free or reduced meal application can be completed to determine your eligibility through April 30th, or you can check eligibility and apply after May 1st for Summer EBT only at https://sebt.ohio.gov/income-eligibility/.

Each household will receive $120 for each eligible school-age child. Households that currently receive free or reduced benefits during the school year will receive their benefit for each eligible child issued on their Ohio Direction Card by July 31st.

Households that do not currently receive SNAP benefits will receive a new Summer EBT card in the mail for each approved child. The card will be in a plain white envelope and addressed to the child. Households should keep their Summer EBT cards to potentially receive future summer benefits.
