Student Safety

The Loveland Board of Education and Loveland City School District Administration are committed to the safety and security of our students and staff. Each building has an individual, comprehensive safety plan that is reviewed annually. If you have questions or concerns regarding safety, please contact your building principal.

In collaboration with the Loveland Police Department, we have three full-time Student Resource Officers (SROs) assigned to the district and a District Safety Manager.

Anti-Bullying

Please contact your school’s principal or counselor with any bullying concerns.

Loveland City Schools is fully committed to curbing student bullying and school violence.  As part of our commitment, LCSD offers:

  • online and telephone reporting tools for students, parents, and staff
  • student training/lessons regarding the need to speak up about safety and bullying issues
  • staff training/professional development

If a bullying incident occurs, we encourage students to report it.

Through a collaboration with PublicSchoolWORKS we offer multiple ways for students and parents to report bullying and other safety issues – any, all, or none of which may be anonymous. Click here to report an incident.  Follow this link for additional information on reporting incidents.
