Student Wellness
Health Services
Loveland students are supported through both direct and indirect services provided by the District Nurses and Health Aides, who make up the Health Services Department.
Assessment, planning, implementation/intervention, and evaluation are the cornerstones of the District Nurses' work. They address individual student and staff health concerns, educate on health-related topics, promote special programs, perform required vision and hearing screenings, and respond to students' and staff's physical, mental, and emotional needs.

Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a proactive approach to establishing the behavioral support and social culture needed for all students in a school to achieve social, emotional, and academic success.
PBIS is a state requirement and is intended to create a school climate and culture where appropriate behavior is the norm. We want to be a district that teaches children how to behave rather than reacting to negative behavior.
Using our three core values of Care, Respect, and Responsibility as our foundation, we will have building/grade-level-specific lessons that clearly state our expectations in all areas of the school, explicitly teach our students expected behaviors, and recognize them for following those expectations.
