Our Vision is to promote, serve and support the academic, artistic, cultural, scientific, and service projects of the Loveland City School District.
Established in 2000, the Loveland Schools Foundation is a non-profit 501 © (3) organization established to garner income to supplement the school district’s budget with the purchase of materials that are not included in the regular school budget but are important to individual faculty for the better learning of Loveland’s students.
Believing that a good education provides for better workplace personnel, the Foundation envisions working with teachers, administrators, parents, local community leaders and businesses to form a stronger bond and interest in the Loveland City Schools.

Say hello to your favorite teachers and discover how your high school, the building from which you graduated, and Loveland itself has changed.
Please fill out the registration form and mail it along with your check to reserve your seat for this fun-filled evening. (see form under "Important Documents") -
Scholarships
Educational costs continue to rise and it is the desire of the Loveland Schools Foundation to assist young and promising scholars to become better community members through assistance with their education beyond high school. To this end, the Foundation offers scholarships to graduating seniors. The number of scholarships and the amount of money given varies from year to year. Some are career-specific and others are more general. Scholarships are presented in May at the Senior Awards Night. All scholarship giving is based on academic qualifications, the character of the applicant, service to the community, determination to complete the course of study chosen, and need. For all scholarships, when criteria have been met and are equal, financial need is the determining element. While the Foundation recognizes that a strong academic background is conducive to success in a higher education program, members of the Board of Trustees also recognize the needs of students attending a two-year college program and technical schools. Therefore students interested in furthering their education in any capacity beyond high school are encouraged to apply for one of the Foundation scholarships which do not specify a particular major.
Students should check with the guidance department at the high school beginning in early to mid-January for the posting of Foundation scholarships that will be given that year. -
Mini Grant Program
Since 2001, the Foundation has offered yearly mini-grants to the faculty and administrators of the district. At the beginning of the second semester, the faculty is provided applications for these grants and are encouraged to request needed items and innovative classroom items which can not be purchased through the normal school budgetary channels. These items may include but are not limited to classroom speakers, supplemental reading materials, field trips, alternative seating such as Wiggle Seats, ball chairs and comfortable and flexible environmental furniture, small musical instruments, and equipment.

Distinguished Alumni Awards
This program honors those Loveland graduates who have used their Loveland Schools education to significantly contribute to their vocation, avocation, and/or their community whether local, national, or global, to enhance the lives of others. The program strives to share with the current student body, employees, and the community the quality of graduates that the Loveland City School System produces – graduates who have demonstrated their leadership and excellence in their professional and personal lives.
To date, the Foundation has inducted 31 graduates who exemplify the qualities listed above. Applications for this award are accepted throughout the year.
Applications for nominees are accepted throughout the year with the deadline for an application to be considered for any given year being April 15. (see form under "Important Documents")
