Garth Carlier joined Loveland City Schools in 2001. After teaching and coaching at Loveland Middle and Loveland Intermediate Schools, he began working in instructional leadership for the district. He became Director of Human Resources in 2021 and Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources in 2023. He also served as the Principal of Loveland Intermediate School for nine years. Carlier earned his Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Kentucky University.He is married to his wife Cari, and they have three children: Haley, Lanee, and Grant.
