Students in grades 3 - 8 (as well as select students in High School) will take the MAP assessment twice a year in reading and math. Students in grades 1 and 2 will take the assessment three times a year. The first administration will take place by the end of September and will provide teachers, parents, and students with data regarding individual student strengths and areas of growth. The second administration will take place in December or January and will show student growth since the beginning of the year. Students in grades 1 and 2 will take the MAP a third time in May. Individual schools will communicate the exact testing dates to parents as those times of year approach.
