Curriculum and Instruction

Curriculum and Instruction
The Loveland City School District is committed to delivering a Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum to its students. All students have access to effective teachers and to the same content, knowledge and skills to experience success in school. Our commitment is that not only are all students given the accessibility to the curriculum, but teachers also are given enough time to teach to mastery.

Loveland City School District formally reviews each subject and content area every five years to ensure that it reflects current research and drives best instructional practice. This process involves examining and updating what we teach, making certain state and national standards are completely integrated, and ensuring a consistent content flow occurs from grade level to grade level. During this process, instructional resources are discussed and approved as needed.

Please reference the links to the right for information on Ohio’s approved learning standards, model curricula, assessments, and parent resources.
