School Schedule
Loveland High School operates on a four block schedule per semester. The school day consists of four, 90-minute blocks. Students involved in music have one split block. These students have 45 minutes of music for the entire year and 45 minutes of an academic class for the entire year. A year long class meets the same amount of time as a semester class and earns the same number of credits. Semester credits are one per semester, with the exception of AP classes, which last all year, for 90 minutes a day.

Course Credit
One credit is granted for satisfactory completion of courses that meet five blocks per week, 90 minutes per block, for 18 weeks. Half credits are earned for courses that meet nine weeks. Physical Education courses earn .5 credits and meet nine weeks. Advanced Placement (AP) Chemistry, American History, and Government earn one credit. All other AP classes meet 90 minutes, 36 weeks, earning two credits.
