A good education wasn’t the only thing I found as an undergraduate at Miami University. I have been happily married to my wife Jennifer since 1992. We have two delightful children, Kayleigh and Tyler, who light up our lives. Both of my children have added an element of joy and wonder to my life that I could not have imagined prior to becoming a dad. Watching them grow and develop and constantly change has become my favorite hobby. There isn’t much that they enjoy more than having books read to them. That is fun for us as parents too; we are getting an opportunity to go back and revisit some old favorites from our childhood, while at the same time are enjoying many of the great new children's books that have come out since we were consumers of such materials. My kids are proving to me what I already knew: that it is never too early to start reading. My goal as the principal of the students at LECC is to see to it that the same joy and love of reading will be engendered in all of "my kids."
