LMS cheers on Spelling Bee regional finalist
Sage Bushstone
Loveland Middle School (LMS) congratulates student Sage Bushstone for advancing to the Spelling Bee Regional Competition taking place March 17 at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy (CHCA). If successful at the regional event, Sage will earn her ticket to the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C.
“Every year, since fifth grade, I have participated in the school spelling bee,” said Bushstone. “Each year, I have performed better and better, so it feels great to make it to this level of competition. To prepare for the upcoming regional spelling bee, I study a list of words every night. In doing so, I am not only improving my spelling but my vocabulary, as well. On March 17, I hope to make my school proud!”
“Sage has already made us so proud,” said LMS Principal Chuck Ogdan. “Sage is a model for all of our LMS students to emulate – working year after year to improve. She practices what we strive to teach all of our students. The LMS Tigers will be cheering her on March 17!”
