Continuing to build upon the first Community Meeting on September 6, which provided information on our school facilities assessment, we invite you to attend our next Building Tiger Nation public event, Portrait of a Tiger. This event, which is the first meeting featuring topics relating to the Student Experience, will be hosted as a breakout session (7:10-8:10 p.m.) in conjunction with the College and Career Information Night taking place at Loveland High School on September 26.
The purpose of this one-hour session is to provide information and context as we consider the current landscape of education and begin to think and dream big as it applies to the student experience we wish to provide all of our Tigers. Loveland’s Department of Teaching and Learning will spend this hour providing information and asking for community input on the following topics:
- The Loveland Board of Education’s expectations of Tiger Growth, Care and Innovation as they provide direction for the master planning process.
- Exploration of national trends in education and employment, and the impact on teaching, learning and preparing our students for tomorrow, today.
- Sharing of feedback via student, alumni and community survey data.
- Opportunities for community feedback and voice on all of the above.
We hope that you can join us for the start of our journey as we begin to vision and define our Loveland City School District Portrait of a Tiger, which will help provide strategic direction for our master planning process.
