46,000 books read in one week!
One week – 46,000 books read.
(Yes - you read that number correctly.)
During Right to Read Week in April, Loveland Primary Students (LPS) consumed more than 46,000 books. It was a lofty building-wide goal for the first and second grade students.
“It brought a huge smile to my face,” said LPS Principal Kevin Fancher. “The week allowed us to celebrate reading and the growth our students made. The students thoroughly enjoyed the special activities and worked hard to reach the reading goal.”
