At Your Service
As the school year commences and our work begins anew, it is a great time to sit back and appreciate the service that we provide for our families. Only through a strong relationship with those families and their children, can we do our best. I have been able to visit every school building and see enthusiasm, energy and effort. From the Loveland Elementary School playground where monitors smiled as they supervised kids on recess; to teachers wowing everyone in attendance at Parent Information Nights with their passion; to custodians working tirelessly to get classrooms ready for the first day of school - I have seen us serve.
There is no greater calling than to serve others. All the members of the Tiger Staff have the privilege of serving the students and families of our school district. We teach, we give, we share, we cook, we clean, we drive; all because we care. In some way, we all contribute to the education of a child, and the happiness of a family.
At our Opening Day meeting this year, we spoke about service and we honored those who have met service milestones at Loveland, including some who had been here 35-45 years. They served humbly, with compassion for the children they encounter every day. They exhibited discipline as they plied their craft every day. And every day this school year we are called to serve our students and our families as they have.
In my first year+ in Loveland, I have been so impressed with our singular focus on the success and well-being of every student. I keep meeting people who take that mission to heart. It is an honor to work with them, and for them. I look forward to a great school year and relish the opportunity to serve and support the Tiger Family.
