Common Core, simplified
VIDEO INCLUDED: What is Common Core? What does it mean for our students? Will graduation requirements be different? Will testing? What should parents know?

After two years of transition, Common Core – designed to make sure all students are college and career ready when they graduate – is being fully implemented by the Loveland City School District this school year, and it’s not an easy subject for parents to digest.

Assistant Superintendent Kimberly Pietsch Miller tackles the complicated questions surrounding Common Core to help us understand the new, robust federal standard for English, Language Arts and Math, adopted by Ohio in 2010.
