LHS Sophomore Recognized by Ohio Attorney General
Loveland High School (LHS) congratulates Sophomore Sam Richardson who was awarded second place out of more than 120 entries for a video production competition hosted by Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine. The competition – "Take Action Video Contest" – was designed to promote the Ohio Attorney General Office for consumer protection. Participants were asked to create 60-second videos about consumer protection topics.
“Consumer protection is an important topic for people of all ages,” Attorney General DeWine said in his official news release. “These videos helped communicate consumer protection messages in creative ways. We congratulate the winners, and we thank all those who participated.”
As one of the top three winners, Richardson earned scholarship money. The LHS student taught himself 3D animation and video production on his home computer, and has decided this is what he would like to pursue in college and for his future career.
“We are so proud of the work Sam originated, and know this award was well-deserved,” said LHS Principal Peggy Johnson. “We look forward to seeing more from our innovative video producer!”
