LEPTA support in action – COSI!
Loveland Early Childhood Center (LECC) first-grade classes enjoyed a visit from COSI Friday, Nov. 4, for some hands-on learning. COSI, the Center of Science and Industry located in Columbus, Ohio, is one of the most respected science centers in the nation — engaging more than 33 million people through both on-site and off-site programs since 1964. Each year the COSI on Wheels program visits LECC thanks to the financial support of the LEPTA.
“This year our students were young scientists conducting experiments to learn about weather – and the program – as it is every year – was just outstanding,” said LECC Principal Kyle Bush. “Having COSI come to our campus is an incredible opportunity for us to work on two of our big goals for the year – Growth and Innovation – and we sincerely appreciate the parental support that makes this possible.”
