Loveland City School District Celebrates Red Ribbon Week
Loveland City School District Celebrates Red Ribbon WeekProviding a safe and positive school environment – that is always the goal at the Loveland City School District, with a unique emphasis on activities during the annual Red Ribbon Week October 23-31. In partnership with the Loveland Drug Task Force, the entire Loveland City School District will unite as one to celebrate the cause of Red Ribbon Week, drug awareness. During this week, each school building will actively take part in the celebration by providing age-appropriate educational activities for students. Additionally, the district, in conjunction with the Loveland Drug Task Force, is challenging students to take the following pledge:

“It’s My Voice and My Choice to be drug and alcohol free. I know that this choice is important to my future. I will make decisions that will help me grow and flourish. I will choose to begin my journey with the end in mind and not allow obstacles to stand in my way.”

“As our Tiger family takes this pledge to be drug and alcohol free, we encourage them to always believe in themselves and know that their journey in life is impacted by the people they will choose, the places they will go and the things they will do,” said Loveland Middle School Assistant Principal Jayson Bruce, who works as the liaison between the district and the Loveland Drug Task Force. “It is YOUR VOICE and YOUR CHOICE to be drug and alcohol free.”
