Loveland superintendent moves office to Loveland Dairy Whip
Loveland superintendent moves office to Loveland Dairy Whip The superintendent is moving his office, and he’s hoping you will stop by for a visit.

Loveland City School District Superintendent Chad Hilliker will set up his office – desk and all – from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at the historic Loveland Dairy Whip (611 West Loveland Avenue, Loveland, Ohio 45140) to discuss the proposed levy being placed before voters Tuesday, May 6.

“It is that important,” said Hilliker. “This is the final Saturday before the vote, and I wanted our residents to have one additional opportunity to meet personally with me so I can answer any remaining questions. We have had such incredible energy leading up to this vote, and I want that momentum to continue right up until the final day. The Loveland Dairy Whip has been a tradition for families here since 1955 – what a perfect place to visit.”

Levy Basics
This is a 5.6 mill levy that will be placed before the voters on Tuesday, May 6. The levy is expected to keep the district off the ballot for a minimum four years. The 5.6 mill levy will cost property owners $196 per $100,000 of appraised real estate value. Collection would begin in January 2015. Additionally, per the County Auditor, beginning in 2016, taxpayers will see a reduction of approximately $48 per $100,000 of appraised real estate value due to the retirement of district bonds.
