Mystery of the Missing Book
Look out Hollywood – the staff of Loveland Elementary School (LES) has an award-winning movie to share! Staff members put their creative minds together to produce the Mystery of the Missing Book, a video they produced to get students pumped for Right to Read Week and the Book Fair. Teachers submitted the video into the Ohio Education Association Right to Read Week contest… they brought home first place!
“What a thrill,” said Susan Craig, LES fourth-grade teacher. “This was a really fun project put together to excite our students to really embrace reading, and now with the winnings ($200) we are going to have funds to purchase books they will love. We could not be more excited!”
The LES Staff posted the video to YouTube for all to enjoy: http://youtu.be/dFWU7v45lLs
The Ohio Education Association will recognize their efforts at the upcoming Right to Read Week awards ceremony Friday, May 9, in Columbus.
